Districts of Antalya: Overview for Living and Investment
Antalya is one of the most popular cities on the Mediterranean. Warm sea, developed infrastructure, and diverse districts — each with its own atmosphere and advantages.
Antalya Center (Kaleiçi, Muratpaşa)
The historic heart of the city. Kaleiçi offers narrow streets, Ottoman architecture, restaurants, and boutique hotels. Real estate is mostly resale — old houses for renovation or apartments. Distance to the sea is just a few minutes’ walk, while Konyaaltı and Lara beaches are 10–15 minutes away.
The airport is about 20 minutes by car. Major shopping malls (MarkAntalya, TerraCity) are nearby. The district is suitable for short-term rentals and tourism business.
Konyaaltı
The most popular district among foreigners. The famous Konyaaltı Beach stretches for almost 8 km. New residential complexes with pools, security, and apartments of various layouts. The area is actively developing, and prices are rising.
10–15 minutes to the center, 25–30 minutes to the airport. Migros 5M mall is within walking distance. A great choice for living, investing, and rentals.
Lara (Lara, Kundu)
A prestigious district of Antalya. Sandy beaches, 5★ hotels, restaurants, and boutiques. Real estate includes modern business- and premium-class complexes, spacious apartments, and villas.
About 20 minutes to the city center, 15 minutes to the airport. Nearby are TerraCity and Mall of Antalya. Lara is popular among wealthy families and for long-term investments.
Kepez
An inland district without direct sea access, but with well-developed city infrastructure. Housing prices are more affordable: apartments in new buildings and family residences.
15–20 minutes to the center and the sea, 20 minutes to the airport. Shopping malls ÖzdilekPark and Erasta are close by. Suitable for permanent residence and budget-friendly property purchase.
Döşemealtı
A quiet suburb in a green zone. Popular among those seeking privacy, space, and an eco-friendly lifestyle. Villas, cottage compounds, and private houses with pools are built here.
About 30 minutes to the sea, 40 minutes to the airport, 25 minutes to Antalya center. No large shopping malls, but there are local markets. Chosen for peaceful and private living.
Aksu
A district near the airport and the famous Kurşunlu Waterfall. Offers land plots, new residential complexes, and proximity to Lara’s sandy beaches.
25 minutes to the city center, 10–15 minutes to the sea, 10 minutes to Mall of Antalya and IKEA. Aksu is promising for investments.
Altıntaş
A new, rapidly developing district near the airport. Modern complexes with pools, security, and landscaping are under construction. Prices are still lower than in Lara but growing fast.
10 minutes to the sea, 5 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to the center, 10 minutes to major malls. A very attractive option for investors.
Kundu
A resort area with large hotels, sandy beaches, and villas. Properties include apartments in residences and houses near the sea.
25 minutes to Antalya center, 15 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to TerraCity mall. Perfect for vacation and rental property.
